| Working to fulfill some print orders I came across this image that made me pause and remember capturing the moment. It was at a wedding that myself and colleague Gene had photographed over the summer. The father of the bride just gave a toast to his daughter and her new husband. It was so sweet, so heartfelt that it moved my bride to tears. Here's her dad giving her a kiss moments after his speech as her husband looks on. It's moments like these that make me feel so fortunate to be a photographer. |

| And here's Gene's shot of the bride's reaction to her father as he was giving his speech. Gene went for natural light using his much coveted Canon 50mm 1.0 lens to grab this moment. Beautiful. |

| Intimate Wedding at the Allied Arts Guild - Amy + Sheldon |
|
 |
| Tis' the time of year... trying to wrap up the season and I just had to post some portraits from Amy and Sheldon's intimate wedding at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. What a great setting for an intimate wedding! We were blessed with a gorgeous Fall day and sun-kissed light. I was also fortunate to have my colleague Gene along with me. Below are some shots we grabbed just before the sun went down. Enjoy! |

| A Vintage Wedding at Meadowood Napa Valley - Amanda + Jonathan |
|
 |
What can be more perfect than a late summer wedding in the beautiful wine country?
Amanda, a professional dancer, and Jonathan, an actor, both living in New York City, mixed style with emotion at their vintage inspired wedding at Meadowood in Napa Valley. The couple shared their love with a small gathering of family and friends, and capped off the evening with a first dance that made you feel like you were sitting in the front row of a New York City Ballet performance.
Amanda's gorgeous dress by Claire Pettibone and stunning birdcage veil by Azzaro. Jonathan's custom tux by Astor & Black. Hair and makeup by Katie Donahue of The Powder Room, and flowers by Friday Flowers in St. Helena.
Special thanks to my friend John Griffin for assisting that day.

I just love it when my brides wear a long veil on their wedding day! So playful, so dreamy, so elegant, so FUN!
Here are some quick grabs from yesterday's wedding of Karla and Mike in San Francisco. The amazing Maria Chang of PMA did Karla's gorgeous hair and makeup.
Brides, don't be afraid to get a long veil. Have fun with it, practice "working it" before your wedding day, and don't forget, you can always take it off later before your reception. Oh, and you might want to pray for a little wind on your wedding day!
More to come. I've got so many other weddings (and dogs!) to blog, and I've got some great news to share as well! |

Courtney and Myrran are married! I couldn't be more happy for this delightful couple. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and the love and warmth of their families and friends, Courtney and Myrran said "We Do" under a grande oak tree overlooking a breathtaking valley and vineyard. Oh my gosh, I have SO MUCH to blog, but have been behind on the blogging front as I've been so busy. I'm excited to finally post the lovely wedding of Holly and Greg.
Holly and Greg were married at the quaint Swedenborgian Church with my good friend and former bride, Shannon Berry, as the coordinator at the church. Shannon also does wedding planning, so check out her website!
I had photographed Holly and Greg's pug, Stanley, a while back. Holly chose to use Stanley's adorable mug as part of her table settings at her reception at the very chic Clift Hotel in downtown San Francisco.
