Isn't she darling? This is Marley at her first baby portrait session. A year or so ago, I had met her parents who were neighbors of ours at our old studio in Cow Hollow, and I had photographed Marley's older brother, Max. Now it was Marley's turn to shine in front of the camera, and that she did!
The shot at the very end of the slideshow is Max during his first portrait session (I swiped the image off my old blog). I just love his little tuft of hair!

| Recent Engagement Sessions |
|
 |
I've been behind again on the blog front -- sorry! We are smack dab in the middle of wedding season and, well, there's been very little time to blog. I've also done a string of engagement sessions recently and thought I'd combine some images from those sessions into one blog post. Enjoy!
Thanks to my clients Mary + Craig, Esmiralda + Ken, Emily + Chancey, Sarah + Mike, Susan + Andy, and Renee + Kelly. You all are such fun and a joy to work with! |

| Photographing Photographers |
|

They say "birds of a feather flock together." Well, that couldn't be more true, especially for photographers. I'm fortunate to call many photographers my friends. I have photographed their dogs, babies, weddings, and themselves! My studio partner, Gene, is no exception. Here are a couple of shots of Gene out on the Salt Flats of Utah. Bogie makes a cameo.
And, recently, when my friend and fellow photographer Tomas Flint flew out from New York to photograph Taylor Pham's wedding with me (see blog post below), I couldn't be more happy to grab some shots of this awesome photographer!

| Michelle + Geoff + DangerMouse |
|
 |
| It was a couple of years ago while shooting an engagement session at Baker Beach that I ran into DangerMouse, the super cool French Bulldog. That encounter led to DangerMouse's parents, Michelle and Geoff, to book me for their upcoming wedding in August. I couldn't have been more excited to finally get to work with this adorable Frenchie and a wonderful couple such as Michelle and Geoff. Armed with some treats, we began our session in the Presidio and photographed around the old buildings before finishing at Baker Beach. Despite getting caught in a big wave, we had such a great time and DangerMouse went home a very happy dog! |

| Tiffany and Eric, along with their little dog, Honey, chose to have their engagement session on charming Chestnut Street in the Marina, just a few blocks from our studio in Cow Hollow. What a great idea! We had so much fun walking the neighborhood. The weather was perfect and the light was gorgeous. We made a quick stop at a fire station (Eric is a fireman) before heading over to nearby Crissy Field to let Honey play on the beach. What a fun time. I can't wait for their wedding in August! |

Meet Santiago, the beautiful baby boy of my good friend and wedding planner extraordinaire, Michelle Martinez of Allure : Wedding Planning for the Modern Bride.
This adorable little boy was such a joy to photograph, complete with lots of drool, giggles, tears and laughter. Michelle brought a few cute outfits for Santiago to wear, but only when Santiago was bare-bottomed that he seemed to really enjoy being in front of the camera. Even Gene pitched in during the session when Santiago decided to take a bathroom break!
p.s. Talk about a baby with style... Santiago is all about product. He uses Jonathan Product "Dirt" to get his hair looking so cool!

Hannah and Andrew are getting married in August. Yesterday we braved the strong winds and photographed on Lyon Street and nearby Presidio and Baker Beach. All these locations are within minutes of my studio and, I admit, I feel spoiled at times because all I have to do is step outside of my studio and I'm surrounded by so many gorgeous locations!
Also, you'll notice a new feature for my blog. I am now displaying images in a slideshow format (thanks, Gene, for the suggestion!) for easy viewing, rather than having to scroll up and down. I hope you enjoy the slideshow.
Thanks, Hannah and Andrew, for a great session. You are such a sweet couple and I can't wait for your wedding! |

| Following my previous blog post about Stanley the Pug, here's Stanley's "parents" Holly and Greg! The couple are getting married later this month in San Francisco and chose the trendy Fillmore district for their engagement session. The focal point of our session was The Clay Theater, the oldest theater in San Francisco and where Holly and Greg had their first date. I just love it when my couples choose a location for their engagement session that is meaningful to them! |

I recently teamed up with makeup artist extraordinaire Taylor Pham, founder of Thi Cosmetics, and Bay Area fashion stylist Cindy Chang, to do a fashion shoot showing off Taylor's incredible makeup artistry. Our beautiful models, Kayla and Lindsey, wore gorgeous gowns provided by Amy Kuschel and custom couture jewelry pieces designed by Haute Bride.
Here are some of my favorites of stunning Kayla, and some behind the scenes shots...
Oh, and I'm excited to be photographing Taylor's wedding this coming June!

| I'm in Los Angeles for a few days and met up with Janice and James who are getting married next month in Carmel. The couple brought along their adorable 1-year-old Puggle, Tobey. What a great session! We had lots of fun and gorgeous light to play with. I can't wait for their wedding! |
