| Courtney and Myrran are married! I couldn't be more happy for this delightful couple. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and the love and warmth of their families and friends, Courtney and Myrran said "We Do" under a grande oak tree overlooking a breathtaking valley and vineyard. The perfect setting for an amazing wedding!

| My pug, Bogie, is 14-years-old and quite a celebrity in the world of photography. His face has graced the pages of numerous magazines, including Rangefinder, and he's even starred in a Gene Higa promo video.
Bogie has quite the fan base, too. It's a pretty regular occurrence here at our studio for Bogie to receive fan mail. He even gets packages. One came all the way from our clients in Jamaica. Just ask our UPS delivery guy. I thought I'd post some of Bogie's fan mail... postcards, love notes, treats... that we've received recently from folks who just love Bogie. Thanks to those special people (and you know who you are) who are so good to my little pug! Here's a recent portrait of Bogie: |

| I've got some amazing weddings to blog, but for now, here are a couple of images from two recent weddings I had the pleasure of photographing -- Courtney + Myrran at Healdsburg Country Gardens, and Diana + Edward (and Beastie the Bull Mastiff) at the Merchant's Exchange in San Francisco.

| Thought I'd stray from weddings and dogs for a post... I'm in Hawaii for a few days for a shoot and came upon these magnificent beasts while driving around the island of Oahu. The horses were so playful, nuzzling us and being such hams for the camera. Oh, and there's even a shot of the Hawaiian photo god himself!

| Oh my gosh, I have SO MUCH to blog, but have been behind on the blogging front as I've been so busy. I'm excited to finally post the lovely wedding of Holly and Greg.
Holly and Greg were married at the quaint Swedenborgian Church with my good friend and former bride, Shannon Berry, as the coordinator at the church. Shannon also does wedding planning, so check out her website! I had photographed Holly and Greg's pug, Stanley, a while back. Holly chose to use Stanley's adorable mug as part of her table settings at her reception at the very chic Clift Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Details, details... | They say "birds of a feather flock together." Well, that couldn't be more true, especially for photographers. I'm fortunate to call many photographers my friends. I have photographed their dogs, babies, weddings, and themselves! My studio partner, Gene, is no exception. Here are a couple of shots of Gene out on the Salt Flats of Utah. Bogie makes a cameo.
And, recently, when my friend and fellow photographer Tomas Flint flew out from New York to photograph Taylor Pham's wedding with me (see blog post below), I couldn't be more happy to grab some shots of this awesome photographer! |
