Today I received an email from the editor at Project Wedding letting me know that they've selected one of my images to grace their home page all this week! The image is from Anna + Seth's gorgeous May wedding last year at Manka's Boathouse. Makeup and hair by the talented Sherrie Long.

I'm happy to share that one of my lovely couple's weddings is being featured as a "Real Wedding of the Week" on Project Wedding!
The beautiful wedding of Anna + Seth took place at San Francisco's City Hall for a civil ceremony, following with a reception at one my favorite venues, Manka's Boathouse in Inverness.

Hannah and Andrew are getting married in August. Yesterday we braved the strong winds and photographed on Lyon Street and nearby Presidio and Baker Beach. All these locations are within minutes of my studio and, I admit, I feel spoiled at times because all I have to do is step outside of my studio and I'm surrounded by so many gorgeous locations!
Also, you'll notice a new feature for my blog. I am now displaying images in a slideshow format (thanks, Gene, for the suggestion!) for easy viewing, rather than having to scroll up and down. I hope you enjoy the slideshow.

| Bark + Whine Ball Tonight! |

For all your dog lovers out there, I wanted to share that tonight is the 2008 Bark & Whine Ball!
The event, sponsored by the San Francisco SPCA, is being held at the San Francisco Gift Center Pavilion (888 Brannan Street) at 7 p.m. Admission is $150 and all proceeds are benefiting a great cause --- The SFSPCA Cinderella Fund, which transforms the lives of the neediest animals that arrive at the shelter -- those who are not only homeless, but are sick or injured as well. Thanks to this wonderful fund, these animals and hundreds more who need that extra measure of care can receive treatment from the skilled medical staff at the SFSPCA. Once restored to health, these special pets can be placed in the loving homes they so richly deserve. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Cinderella Fund.
I'm honored to be part of this great event and have donated a portrait session to the Bark & Whine Ball's Silent Auction.
