Fashion Shoot! http://www.annhamiltonblog.com/index.cfm?postID=130 http://www.annhamiltonblog.com/index.cfm?postID=130 Thu, 01 May 2008 23:33:00 GMT Gene Higa and I teamed up with makeup artist extraordinaire Taylor Pham, founder of Thi Cosmetics, and Bay Area fashion stylist Cindy Chang, to do a fashion shoot showing off Taylor's incredible makeup artistry. Our beautiful models, Kayla and Lindsey, wore gorgeous gowns provided by Amy Kuschel and custom couture jewelry pieces designed by Haute Bride.

Gene will be posting images soon of his model, the lovely Lindsey, to his blog. Here are some of my favorites of stunning Kayla, and some behind the scenes shots...

Oh, and I'm excited to be photographing Taylor's wedding this coming June!

Bogie hangs with the stars! http://www.annhamiltonblog.com/index.cfm?postID=128 http://www.annhamiltonblog.com/index.cfm?postID=128 Sat, 19 Apr 2008 00:23:00 GMT Jose Villa (and his three dogs, Nelly, Java and Lucca), Becker (who used to have a pug) and Jules Bianchi (and her sweet dog, Olive), and Rangefinder magazine editor Bill Hurter, who happens to be Bogie's number one fan! I didn't get shots of everyone, but while we were walking around Hollywood Boulevard, Bogie found his favorite "stars," Humphrey Bogart and Winnie-the-Pooh!

Oh, and check out Jules' blog for photos of Bogie and Olive visiting the famous hot dog joint, Pink's!

*** Update ***

I received this kind email from Bill Hurter, editor of Rangefinder magazine:

"Love the blog shots of Bogie on Hollywood Blvd. After meeting the lad, he truly has all the star power I suspected. He is real "A-list!"

Best,
Bill"

What a hidden gem this place is! The natural surroundings and rustic charm of Manka's, not to mention the gorgeous light we were blessed with, gave us some amazing imagery! I could have photographed Anna and Seth all day long.

The Details:

Groom's Suit: Armani

Anna and Seth chose Manka's for it's simple beauty...

The couple responsible for introducing Seth and Anna...

Simply amazing... the work of Matika of Simply Blooms...

I saved the best shot for last... the very camera shy father of the bride. I thought Anna's dad would love to see his photo on my blog! :)

Cheeko B Pet Boutique Opens! http://www.annhamiltonblog.com/index.cfm?postID=121 http://www.annhamiltonblog.com/index.cfm?postID=121 Wed, 02 Apr 2008 02:41:00 GMT
Owners Kattya and Patrick, along with their adorable Chiuahuhua's Cheeko (whom the store is named after) and Frankie, have opened Cheeko B, San Francisco's newest, swankiest pet boutique serving dog and cat owners in Union Square, Nob Hill and SOMA.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Cheeko B!

(Please pardon the point and shoot quality images. Also, more news and images of Cheeko B to come, so stay tuned!)

The dog behind the brand: Cheeko...

And his sweet little sidekick, Frankie...

Patrick and Kattya have created a warm and inviting atmosphere for pets and their owners.

Cheeko B offers a wide assortment of stylish collars, leashes, doggie wigs, clothing, toys, treats and beds for the most discerning dogs (and cats, too!).

Kattya was so kind to give Bogie a gift... a stroller! This is one of the most thoughtful gifts. Bogie doesn't walk well and his new stroller allows him to still get around town in style. He just loves it!

Gene found a new friend... this is Houdini the French Bulldog.

And... not too long ago Cheeko and Frankie came in to my studio for their portrait!
